Services

  • At Homeward Farms, we take pride in providing the absolute highest standard of horse care. We provide full-care board, weekly lessons for you and full training for your horse maintaining a limited number of clients and horses in our program so that each horse and rider can receive the individual time and attention they deserve. We do not offer public boarding but do have a limited number of pasture boarding spots available. 

    Premium Boarding

    Private facility open Tuesday - Sunday: $1,900 per month

    12 x 12 stalls with windows, mats, fans, fly spray system and low-dust bagged shavings

    Customized training program for each horse and rider- All lessons and pro-rides included

    2x daily premium grain, free choice high quality orchard/alfalfa mix hay and supplement feedings

    Daily grooming and exercise for each horse

    Daily turn-out in individual paddocks, weather permitting. Feet picked out daily when returning to stall from turnout 

    Handling and scheduling for veterinary and farrier services

    Vet and farrier on-site at least 1x/week (services billed directly by the providers)

    Feed through fly control split according to cost from supplier (March-November)

    Chiropractor on-site daily

    Tack-up service on request: 8 a.m.-5 p.m daily 

    Full laundry service (wash/dry/fold) for saddle pads, wraps, etc.

    Blanketing/ unblanketing 

    Blanket/sheet levy remains the same $40 (for clients for subscribe)

    TheraPlate

    Barn supplies fee $40 per month

    It is required of all boarding clients to attend 3 horse shows per year

    Pasture Boarding

    Pasture board: $730 per month

    Includes 2x daily grain, hay and supplement feedings 

    Blanketing/ unblanketing 

    Quarterly supply fee $85

  • Here at Homeward Farms we strive to match the right horse with the right rider. We are connected in Europe and have imported many successful horses over the years. We specialize in selling and marketing and welcome sales prospects. Please contact us if you are needing to sell your horse or if you are looking for your next partner.

  • Homeward Farms competes at both A rated competitions in Texas and all over the country as well as local shows in Texas.

    Our flat-rate horse show fee covers all training, daily horse care, grooming and pro riding/showing services for each horse while at a horse show. The flat-rate also includes schooling the client, lessons on non-show days, tack-up service, wrapping (if needed), un-braiding, lunging (if needed), and show barn set-up/take-down.

    5 day ‘A’ rated show: $800 per horse week per week with a non-refundable deposit one month in advance of the show (Wednesday-Sunday)

    3 day local show:  $475/show (Friday-Sunday)

    Listed rates are for our boarding clients only

    In-state hauling: $1.40/mile

    Out of state hauling: $1.20/mile

    Local hauling: $120

    Expenses are divided by customer horses and include but are not limited to: groom travel expenses, supplies, set up, etc. 

  • While Homeward Farms prides itself on our clients success in the show ring at both national and local competitions, we are not just a show barn. We also offer lessons and have a great group of dependable lesson horses for use. We aim to create confident and effective riders at every level of the sport from short stirrup up to the Grand Prixs. Whether your interest is to ride for pleasure or to compete at the top of the sport, we will work to help you meet your goals. We often have multiple horses available for in-barn lease for our lesson clients who are not quite ready to buy their own horse.
